Vetting Coordinator
The Vetting Coordinator will manage all vet records for dogs in the rescue’s care. The ideal candidate has a background in administrative work, is highly organized and dependable and has a passion for rescue!
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Coordinate vet appointments for Heart Mountain Rescue’s dogs with the organization’s vet partnersand foster parents.
Create and maintain a Vetting Tracker; ensure it is kept up to date.
Bi-weekly called with Founder to review Tracker and discuss any issues.
Maintain medical information, vet records and dog profiles.
Create Vetting Sheet with medical history for adopters.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Professional administrative experience.
Proactive and self-starter as this role is highly independent.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must have a passion for rescue and a positive, “can do” attitude!
Computer savvy; proficient with Google Sheets, Google Drive and Gmail.
TIME COMMITMENT:
Approximately 1 hour per day; due to the training and involvement of the position, we ask that only those able to make a long term commitment apply.
